E-Mail Technical Support

Email based Technical Support allows you to get the answers you need, without the cost of a telephone call. Send us your questions any time it's convenient for you, and because you're already on the Internet, email is free.

We answer most questions within 1 to 2 business days. During times of increased volume, and after weekends or holidays, it may take us a bit longer than usual to answer your questions.

We will only answer questions that meet each of the following three requirements.

  • Your software must be registered with us. (see registration help below.)
  • You must include your serial number in each e-mail message.
  • You must include your FULL NAME in each e-mail (just including an E-Mail address or nickname is not enough).

Registration Help

Registering your software is easy. We offer several methods to make it easier for you:

  • Online registration is available here.
  • Call GenieSoft at CompanyPhone .

If you don't know your serial number, you can find it in several places:

  • It's on your registration card if you have a Cakewalk version.  It is on the back of the CD case if you have a GenieSoft version.
  • You can look it up while using your software. Simply open the Help pull-down menu and click on About Score Writer/Overture.
  • If you're really stuck you can call GenieSoft customer service and ask them to look it up for you.
