Note: Every one should get this patch. The previous few patches
had a few serious flaws.
- Fixed broken tie problems with real time recording. (Bug was
introduced in patch 22).
- Fixed too many additional measures added when pasting from last
measure in score.
- Improved spacing consistency around different bar line types.
- Added a little more space for cautionary accidentals.
- Improved double clicking on clefs, meters, and key signature
space on first measure of a system.
- Limited dragging around items to only include lines if their end
points are in the dragged area.
- Fixed problem where eraser did not work on all symbols. (Bug was
introduced in patch 23).
- Fixed a few bugs when setting key signatures over a ranges that
had existing key signatures.

- Added a quick helpful feature. Shift click the TextOnly switch in Chords Window
to show or hide all Guitar Frames in score. This will be changed
later to a menu option.
- Corrected beaming pattern for 6/4 meters to be groups of 6
eighth notes.

meters.
- Transpose command now transposes correctly for Guitar Frames and

- Added a blank chord in Chord Window when there are no frames for
the current chord type so user can insert a chord of the current
type and then fill in the fret positions later..
- Improved Chord alignment when there are no notes in bar and
align better when entering notes under them.
- Fixed several Guitar Chord transposition problems including
Diminished fourths.
- Fixed a few problems when changing major, minor, aug and dim
text types in Guitar Frame dialog..
- Step Input now enters Guitar Chords with no frame if Text Only
is check in Chords Window.
- Step Input now transposes entered notes appropriately if Score
is Transposed mode. Setting is in Step Input Options Menu
- Fixed Step Input bug that sometimes limited tuplets to only
triplet values.
- Fixed problem with expanding hairpins when entering multiple at

Crescendo not a Decrescendo.

- Fixed some jumping around while editing on large scores that were
zoomed in.
- Fixed a hang bug when exporting a MIDI file and the last bar had a
repeat in it.
- Also fix
a serious bug that has been in Score Writer 4 code for years that eventually
caused crashes if you dragged certain items around many times.
This bug would also cause a disconnect from the Audio Engine.
- The default folder when extracting parts is the folder containing the
main score.
- When Wrap System is off staves dragged below the page will get a
warning. The Page Size will not change under any circumstances unless
the user does so in Page Dimensions Dialog.
- Improved spacing of Lyrics when using the Justify routine and
improved spacing on notes with melismas.
- Fixed bug that packed wrong legato data into a slur, when
multiple slurs are created simultaneously on tracks that used
different legato data.
- You can now flip beams vertically by selecting them and choosing
the Flip menu command.
- You can now nudge notes even with Auto>Justify turned on but if
you insert or delete notes in the measure they will be aligned if
Auto>Justify is on.

When entering dynamics and hairpins the default location is used if they are entered below the top of the staff.
If they are entered above the staff the current dragged position is used.
If they are entered below the top of the staff and the default location is used, the dynamic/hairpin is moved below any notes or beams that would collide.
