Score Writer Updates

Score Writer 2.6.1 - This update will only work with Score Writer 2.0 and above.

Score Writer 2.6.1 (OS X) - This update will only work with Score Writer 2.0 and above.

Score Writer 2.6.1 (OS 8.6-9.2) - This update will only work with Score Writer 2.0 and above.

To download and apply the updates:

Windows

Macintosh

• Download the Patch/Update to your computer. It's recommended that you create a new, empty folder to contain the update file.  You will be asked whether or not to save it to disk. Always save it to disk, preferably to a temporary folder.
• Run the Update by either double-clicking the Update file or entering the correct path in the Windows Start Menu's | Run dialogue.
• The Update requires and will search your system for a previously installed version.
• If you have a Cakewalk version installed, a folder named GenieSoft will be created and a complete new version will be installed.  If you have a previous GenieSoft version, it will be replaced with this version.

• Download the Patch/Update to your computer.  You may need a program like Stuffit Expander to expand .sit downloads.
• Run the Update by double-clicking the Update file.
• The Update requires and will search your system for a previously installed version.
• If you have a Cakewalk version installed, a folder named GenieSoft will be created and a complete new version will be installed.  If you have a previous GenieSoft version, it will be replaced with this version.
